Raid the Wind Kennels

The root of Raid the Wind is Windsong Kennels. We bought our first Shiloh in 1989 (Windsong's Cheyanne D'Shiloh). In 1992, GVabci Ch Windsong's Katrinka D'Shiloh ROM, the highest Register of Merit bitch in Shiloh Shepherd history (we love you and miss you Trinka), came in to our life and we were bit by the show bug, it's been a passion ever since. We equally acknowledge and are still graced by their presence, NS Ch Windsong Sheshesharona of Zion ROM and Ch Ptd. Windsong's Gypsy Dancer of Zion ROM, both 12+ years old. These three girls are the Terrific Trio that our entire kennel is built on today. We sat as Secretary of the club and registry from '93 to '98. Learned everything we could, and boy did we learn a lot. We have produced under the above kennel names over 30 Champions/Ch Ptd that include 4 Grand Victor/Victrix's and 12 National Selects. We have owner handled all of our breeding stock as well as handled the legends Shep, Pax, Lobo, Orso, and Laz to name only a few.

We support the most important issue facing our breed today, breeder unity. We believe in breeding to our Breed Standard while securing a broad gene pool to take us into the future. Our kennel focus is movement and heads and calm therapy type temperaments. We advocate health testing and open sharing of health data. All of our Shilohs (currently 10) live in our home with us, no kennels. We plan two litters a year max.
